Maria Tarre Trahan
Founder.
Maria Tarre, also known as Miss Mia by countless young children and parents alike, began having interest in newborns back in her native Sweden, when her 14 years younger brother was born severely premature. Ms. Tarre worked briefly with the San Diego Humane Society before embarking on her career in the newborn, infant and childcare field. Maria has run childcare centers and worked as a professional nanny in Southern California for close to 20 years. Since 1998 she has assisted new parents in adjusting to life with baby. Maria has over 3000 hours of hands on experience assisting new mothers with breastfeeding issues and also providing care for multiples and preemies. As a nanny, Ms. Tarre applies her passion for music, art and theatre when spending time with children. She looks for that same passion and enthusiasm when hiring nannies for A Charmed Life Child Care, Inc. Maria holds a Bachelors Degree from National University in La Jolla, California but her proudest achievement by far is her two children, Olivia and Benjamin who are both pursuing careers in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. Maria now resides in New Orleans where she is happy to share her wealth of information and joy of caring for a child alongside many new parents. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore the world all around together with her husband.
Amber Williams
Office Manager
Amber started in the nanny industry in 2013. Before joining our team, she was a traveling nanny who found a strong passion working with disabled children/adults. Mrs. Amber works full time recruiting and vetting the best nannies across the United States. She believes in finding the perfect fit for every family and helping families with all the “ins and out”. Amber currently holds a Bachelors Degree from Saint Petersburg College in Tampa, Florida. She hopes to complete her Masters degree from Louisiana State University in late 2024.
